Copyright and takedown notices
K25x hosts very little content from other people: community stories on the Stories Wall, which a person reviews before anything is published, and the statements and receipts you upload for your own use, which stay private to your account. If something on this site infringes your copyright, this page tells you how to have it taken down, and what happens next. We respond to notices under the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act and to comparable requests from elsewhere.
Sending a notice
A notice we can act on contains:
- Which copyrighted work you say has been infringed, or a representative list if there are several.
- Where the material is on k25x.ai — the exact page address — so we can find it.
- How we can reach you: name, postal address, e-mail address and, if you like, a phone number.
- A statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act for them.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Where to send it
E-mail hello@k25x.ai with the subject line “Copyright notice”. Notices sent there reach the person responsible for them.
When a complete notice arrives we remove or disable access to the material promptly, tell the person who posted it, and keep a record of the notice. Incomplete notices get a reply asking for what is missing.
If your content was removed
If you believe material of yours was removed by mistake, you can send a counter-notice to the same address containing:
- Which material was removed and where it appeared on k25x.ai.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that you believe in good faith the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, postal address, e-mail address and phone number.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts for your address (or, if outside the United States, a court where K25x may be found) and that you will accept service from the person who sent the original notice.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
We forward a complete counter-notice to the person who sent the original notice. Unless they tell us within ten business days that they have gone to court to keep the material down, we restore it between ten and fourteen business days after receiving your counter-notice.
Repeat infringers
We close the accounts of people who repeatedly post material that infringes someone else's copyright, and we decline further story submissions from them.
False notices
Knowingly misrepresenting that material infringes, or that it was removed by mistake, can make you liable for the costs and damages that follow, including ours. Please be sure before you send either kind of notice.
Not a copyright matter?
If a published story contains your personal information rather than your copyrighted work, write to privacy@k25x.ai. For anything else, see Support.
