What does K25x actually do?

It consolidates every account you have — bank, brokerage, crypto, property — across every currency into a single financial picture. Every amount is shown in its native currency with an ≈ conversion into the one reporting currency you choose, and you get a personalized roadmap to financial independence.

Do I have to connect my bank?

No. You can run the whole app on manual entry or CSV import. Bank connections (coming Q1 2027) will be a convenience, not a requirement — the app runs fully on manual/CSV today.

Does this support Arabic?

Not yet in the app — Arabic in-app translation and RTL layout are on the roadmap but not live, so the language switcher is English-only for now. Our public marketing pages are English only at the moment too.

Can I use this outside the UAE?

Yes — the engine works globally. UAE- and GCC-specific features (Zakat, Lean bank connections, etc.) are designed for residents but everyone benefits from the core tracking and planning.

How is my data protected?

Your two-factor secret and AI-advisor memory are encrypted at rest (AES-GCM) on your device. Your net-worth and transaction data lives in your browser and, if you turn on cloud sync, in our secure cloud database (Google Firestore, access-controlled to your account). All traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). The app is read-only by design — it can never move money. Bank feeds aren’t live yet: today you track accounts by manual entry and statement import (CSV / PDF), with read-only Plaid + Lean bank feeds on our Q1 2027 roadmap — when they launch, any bank access tokens will be stored on our servers (encrypted at rest, access-controlled to your account), never kept in your browser. Two-factor authentication (TOTP) is available and works with any authenticator app; you can switch it on anytime from Settings — we strongly recommend it, but it is not required. From Settings you can sign out all other sessions at once, and that takes effect immediately: server-side token checks catch a revoked session on its very next request.

Do you sell my data?

No — we never sell your data. We make money from subscriptions: no ads, no data brokering. One disclosure: our optional estate-planning (wills) feature is designed to refer you to selected third-party partners who may pay K25x a referral fee if you choose to use them — the fee comes from the partner, not from anything added to the partner’s own published price, and it isn’t a personalized recommendation. The fee is disclosed and consented to at the point of hand-off, and no such partner is live yet. If you use one, confirm any will is valid for your country of residence and where your assets are held. Outside that one feature, there are no affiliate links.

Can I export or delete my data?

Yes. Settings → Data → Export (CSV / JSON) or Delete account. Deletion is permanent and completes within 30 days.

Where is data stored?

Your data lives locally in your browser by default. Cloud sync across devices (Firestore, access-controlled to your account) is opt-in and included with Pro and Family — on Free your data stays on the device you entered it on, and you can export it any time.

Yes. Net worth tracking, basic dashboard, CSV & PDF bank-statement import (up to 12 documents in total — a one-time lifetime allowance that does not reset monthly or yearly), and read-only calculators, forever free. Manual entry stays unlimited on the free plan. Paid plans remove the cap for unlimited imports. (Automated bank feeds via Plaid + Lean ship Q1 ’27.)

K25x is a software product, not a licensed advisory firm. Our Advisor Access tier (coming soon) connects you with independent fee-only advisors who are licensed in their jurisdictions.

Because the evidence is overwhelming: broad diversification, low fees, and time in the market beat active management for most investors. It’s boring, honest, and it works.

How do I connect my UAE bank?

Today: manual entry, CSV import, or SMS/email forwarding works for any bank. Bank-feed integrations via Lean Technologies (UAE-native, CBUAE-regulated; covers most local banks) and Plaid (US/UK/EU + UAE-international) are fully built and read-only (they can never move money). They are switched off in production until we complete Plaid's production-access review and Lean's commercial onboarding — real bank connections activate once those approvals land and live credentials are configured.

Does it handle Zakat?

Yes. Automatic Zakat calculation on eligible assets using your selected madhab, with Nisab thresholds based on indicative gold/silver spot prices (a live daily feed is on the roadmap). Adjustable if you prefer manual control.

What about UCITS ETFs?

Accepted Answer

Fully supported. We default non-US persons to UCITS accumulating ETFs to avoid the 15–30% withholding and PFIC headaches of US-domiciled funds.

Do you handle tax residency?

Yes — expat mode tracks your residency status, flags day-counts where relevant (UK SRT, etc.), and adjusts tax assumptions in projections.
